Configure Auth0 as SSO provider

Learn how to configure Auth0 as your SSO provider in Snow Atlas. To use Auth0 as your SSO provider, you must add Snow Atlas as an Auth0 app. After you add the Snow Atlas app in Auth0, you must retrieve values from the app configuration that you require to set up Auth0 as your SSO provider in Snow Atlas.

Add Snow Atlas as Auth0 app

You must be an Auth0 tenant administrator to follow this procedure.

  1. In the Auth0 Dashboard, select Applications and navigate to SSO Integrations.

  2. Select Create SSO Integrations.

  3. Search for Snow Atlas SSO and select it.

  4. To grant the permissions required by the app, select Continue.

  5. Enter a name for the application, and select Done.

  6. Select the Connections tab. and ensure that the toggles are turned on only for user sources that require access to the app.

Find values to set up Auth0 SSO in Snow Atlas

You require the relevant Issuer , Client ID and Client secret for your Snow Atlas Auth0 app integration.

This procedure identifies where you retrieve and copy values from the Snow Atlas Auth0 app that you require in Snow Atlas, to add Auth0 as your SSO provider. For more information, see Add SSO providers.

  1. In the Auth0 Dashboard, select Applications, and then the application that you added in Add Snow Atlas as Auth0 app.

  2. Select the Settings tab.

  3. Copy the value for Client ID.

    Use the value as the Client ID when you set up Auth0 as your SSO provider.

  4. Copy the value for Client secret.

    Use the value as the Client secret when you set up Auth0 as your SSO provider.

  5. Copy the value for Domain.

    Use the value as the Issuer when you set up Auth0 as your SSO provider, and prefix it with https://.

  6. Optional: To add a value for Organization ID when you set up Auth0 as your SSO provider:

    1. Select the Organizations tab and configure Organization Settings.

    2. In the Auth0 Dashboard, select Organizations.

    3. Copy the Organization ID.

      Use the value as the Organization ID when you set up Auth0 as your SSO provider.
