Manage scheduled reports

Learn how to manage your scheduled reports in SAM Core on Snow Atlas.

Add scheduled reports

You can schedule automatic export of the reports in SAM Core and have them delivered to an email recipient. Available file formats are CSV, PDF, XLS/XLSX, and XML. The exported report is sent as a compressed file (.zip). If your report file is too large to be sent by email, it is uploaded to the Report files page instead. You will then receive an email with a link to the Report files page where you can download your report.

  1. On the SAM Core menu, select Reports.

  2. Find the report you want to schedule an export of. For information on how to search, see Search for reports.

  3. Select the schedule icon next to the name of the report.

  4. In Schedule report:

    1. Optionally, change the Name and the Description of the exported report.

    2. Select the Type of file format.

    3. Select the Recurrence of the exported report:

      • Daily

      • Weekly: Select also the Weekdays.

      • Monthly: Select also the Day of the month.

      • Yearly: Select also a Month and the Day of the month.

    4. Select the Time of the day.

    5. Enter the E-mail address of the recipient of the exported report.

    6. Select Active to immediately activate the scheduling of the report.

      note

      You can edit this setting later. If you do not select Active at this point and then select Save, you will save the scheduling settings but you will not receive any scheduled reports.

    7. Select Save.

View scheduled reports

  • On the SAM Core menu, under Reports, select Scheduled reports.

    The list of scheduled reports shows, for example, the name of the exported report, when the next export is due, and when the report was most recently exported.

Next export will be empty if the scheduling is not set to Active.
Latest export will be empty if the scheduling has never run.

Edit scheduled reports

  1. On the SAM Core menu, under Reports, select Scheduled reports.

  2. Select the schedule icon next to the name of the report for which you want to edit the scheduling.

  3. In Change Schedule, add or edit the applicable information, see Add scheduled reports.

  4. Select Save.

Delete scheduled reports

When you delete a scheduled report, you deactivate the report scheduling and you remove the scheduling settings.

  1. On the SAM Core menu, under Reports, select Scheduled reports.

  2. Select the delete icon next to the name of the report for which you want to delete the scheduling.

  3. Select OK to confirm.
