Application allowlist: Reference
Refer to the tables below for field descriptions when you want to view or edit the application allowlist in SAM Core on Snow Atlas.
Criteria
The Criteria tab lets you specify criteria and automation rules for your approved applications.

| Criteria type | The type of criteria; application type, application manufacturer, or application name. (Required) |

The Allowlist automation rules section shows a number of predefined rules. You can use them to automatically identify applications and add them to the allowlist.

|---|---|
| Automatically allowlist applications with at least [X] installations | If selected, applications with a set number of installations, or more, are automatically added to the allowlist. |
| Automatically allowlist applications with at least [X] users | If selected, applications with a set number of users, or more, are automatically added to the allowlist. |
| Always allowlist licensed applications | If selected, all licensed applications are added to the allowlist. |
| Automatically denylist non-allowlisted applications (disables denylist administration) | If selected, all applications not on the allowlist are automatically added to the denylist. |
Applications (result)
The Applications (result) tab shows a list of applications identified by your specified criteria and selected automation rules. You cannot make changes here.

All applications on the allowlist are shown, whether they are installed or not. Use the columns Installations and Users to see the actual number of installations and users in your IT environment.
