View datacenters and clusters
For field descriptions, see Datacenters and clusters: Reference.
-
On the SAM Core menu, select Datacenters and clusters.
-
Find and select the datacenter or cluster you want to view the details for. For information on how to filter, sort, and group the list datacenters and clusters, see Manage lists.
Export datacenter and cluster information
You can export information from, for example, a list or a search result in the SAM Core user interface. Available file formats are CSV, PDF, XLS/XLSX, and XML.

Add datacenters and clusters
You can add datacenters and clusters manually in SAM Core based on the inventoried computers in your IT environment.
For field descriptions, see Add or edit datacenter/cluster: Reference.
-
When you add a datacenter or cluster manually, make sure that you only add the physical servers. The virtual machines will then be added automatically based on the configured relationships between them and their physical hosts.
-
If you are uncertain of any of the settings, check with your datacenter/cluster administrator.
-
On the SAM Core menu, select Datacenters and clusters.
-
Select the three dots in the upper-right corner of the page, and then select Add datacenter/cluster.
-
On the General tab:
-
Enter a Name for the new datacenter/cluster.
-
Select the Organization node that the datacenter/cluster belongs to, and then select Apply.
