Application use rights

Assign application use rights in SAM Core on Snow Atlas to ensure the correct usage of expensive applications.

Application use rights can be assigned to users to, for example, monitor and ensure the correct usage of expensive applications in your IT environment. When a user uses the applications without having the assigned use rights, an alert is generated.

Characteristics

When you have assigned application use rights to one or several users, the warning message Application rights registered appears on the details page of that application. Also, all users without the rights to use the application are highlighted in red on the Users tab on the details page of the application.
