Manage master and sub-agreements

Learn how to manage your master and sub-agreements in SAM Core on Snow Atlas.

Show the master agreement of a sub-agreement

  1. Find and select the sub-agreement for which you want to see the master agreement. For information on how to search, see Search for agreements or Advanced search for agreements.

  2. Select the three dots in the upper-right corner of the page, and then select Show master agreement.

Show the sub-agreements of a master agreement

  1. Find and select the master agreement for which you want to see the sub-agreements. For information on how to search, see Search for agreements or Advanced search for agreements.

  2. On the Sub-agreements tab, select the name of a sub-agreement to view the details of that specific agreement.

Add a sub-agreement to a master agreement

In this scenario, you create a new agreement as a sub-agreement to a master agreement. If the sub-agreement is already created in SAM Core, follow the instructions in Attach a sub-agreement to a master agreement instead.

  1. Find and select the agreement that will be used as the master agreement. For information on how to search, see Search for agreements or Advanced search for agreements.

  2. Select the three dots in the upper-right corner of the page, and then select Add sub-agreement.

  3. Add the new sub-agreement. For information on how to add, see Add agreements.

When the agreements are connected, the sub-agreement is listed directly underneath the master agreement in the list of agreements. An arrow to the left of the agreement name indicates that the agreement has one or more sub-agreements.

Attach a sub-agreement to a master agreement

In this scenario, you attach an already created agreement as a sub-agreement to a master agreement. If the sub-agreement is not created beforehand in SAM Core, follow the instructions in Add a sub-agreement to a master agreement instead.

  1. Find and select the agreement that will be used as sub-agreement. For information on how to search, see Search for agreements or Advanced search for agreements.

  2. Select the three dots in the upper-right corner of the page, and then select Attach to master.

  3. In the Agreement list, select the agreement that will be used as master.

  4. Select Save.

When the agreements are connected, the sub-agreement is listed directly underneath the master agreement in the list of agreements. An arrow to the left of the agreement name indicates that the agreement has one or more sub-agreements.

Detach a sub-agreement from its master agreement

  1. Find and select the sub-agreement that you want to detach from its master. For information on how to search, see Search for agreements or Advanced search for agreements.

  2. Select the three dots in the upper-right corner of the page, and then select Detach from master.

  3. Select OK to confirm.
