Manually move user accounts
Sometimes, user accounts that belong to a single individual in your organization are not automatically consolidated into a single SaaS user. To consolidate user entities in SaaS, you can manually move accounts from one SaaS user to another. When you move all accounts associted with a SaaS user, that user is deleted from the system.
-
On the Users page, select a user.
-
Select X accounts to view all of the user accounts linked to the SaaS user.
-
On the Accounts page, select the accounts you want to move.
-
On the Actions menu, select Move to other user.
-
In the Select user dialog, select the user you want to move the accounts to, and then click Select.
To assign manually moved accounts back to the original user, select the accounts, and then on the Actions menu, select Move back to default user.
Mark as online only
Mark users that only exists as SaaS users who do not have a device that is inventoried in your organization. This is common for, for example, consultants and other temporary staff. The user will have a mark in the Online only column. You turn off the toggle if the situation changes.
The mark does not change the data, but serves as a help when you analyze user activity and applications. Application usage, for example, may not show data for online-only users, since the browser extensions are locally installed. For more information, see Browser extension. The same may be true for user activity in applications installed on devices, since devices for external staff may not be inventoried in your organization. For more information, see Device application usage.
