Prepare Box connector
This connector is currently available in beta.
The Box connector retrieves information about subscriptions, users, and user activity. In the Box developer console, you are required to create a custom app, copy the Client ID and Enterprise ID, fetch a Client Secret using two-factor authentication, and enter the values in Settings when adding the connector.
Prerequisites
A Box enterprise account with Admin privileges and access to the Box developer console is required.
Procedure
-
Sign in to your Box account: https://account.box.com/login
-
In the sidebar menu, select Dev Console.
-
To create a new custom app, in My Platform Apps, select Create Platform App.
-
Select Custom App.
-
In Create a Custom App:
-
Enter the required app details and select Next.
-
Select Server Authentication (Client Credentials Grant) as the authentication method.
-
Select Create App.
-
-
On the General Settings tab, copy and save the value in Enterprise ID. It is used when adding the connector.

Submitting the application raises a request to authorize your application and sends an email to your enterprise's Primary Admin. If the Primary Admin is unable to authorize your application from their end, alternatively, you can manually approve the application in the Admin Console.
-

-
Navigate to the Admin Console in your account and in the sidebar menu, select Integrations.
-
Select Platform Apps Manager tab.
-
In Server Authentication Apps table, locate and set your created app to Enable App.
-
-
When adding the connector in Snow Atlas, in Settings, enter the saved values in Client Id, Client Secret, and Enterprise Id.
After completing this task, follow the general procedure to Add connectors.
