Edit application: Reference

Refer to the table below for field descriptions when you want to add or edit applications in SaaS.

Field label	Description
Vendor	The vendor of the application. (Required)
Application	The name of the application. (Required)
Website	Link to the vendor's website. It is only visible if the information exists in Snow's database.
Privacy policy	Link to the vendor's privacy policy. It is only visible if the information exists in Snow's database.
Category	The software category of the application. This information is AI-generated and comes from Snow's database. It is only visible if the information exists in Snow's database.
Approved	If Yes is selected, the application is marked as managed and approved for use by your security organization. No is selected by default. (Required) Applications discovered through SaaS connectors are automatically marked as approved and the value cannot be changed.
Single sign-on	If Yes is selected, the application is marked as accessed with single sign-on. No is selected by default. (Required)
Primary owner	The person responsible for managing this application in your organization. Only system users can be added.
