Customer details

Details about your customer's Snow Atlas system only show if your access to that customer's system is enabled, and you are an authorized user. For more information on partner access and how to add an authorized user, see Partner access, and Add or remove authorized users respectively.

note

If a user is not listed as an authorized user for a customer, and they have a role which includes the permission id.tenantconsents.crud, they can still view that customer's details. This permission is included in the default Snow Atlas System administrator role.

You can view key metrics for the health and status of the customer's Snow Atlas system. The data is synchronized daily with the customer's system and displayed in the customer details. See the table below for when the data is synchronized in each region.

To access your customer's Snow Atlas system, you can select Sign in. To update the customer details page to be more recent than the latest synchronization, you can select Sync data. When you are notified that the synchronization is complete, you can view the metrics for the customer's Snow Atlas system which were current when the synchronization occurred.

You can select the Computers tab or the Applications tab to display metrics related to the customer's computers or applications, respectively. If the customer is entitled to Snow SaaS Management, you can select the SaaS tab to display metrics related to the customer's SaaS estate, otherwise you can select the SaaS preview tab which shows the value that Snow SaaS Management can provide.

Computers

When you select the Computers tab, the page shows the customer's name and alerts related to the computers for the specific customer. There is also a summary that shows information on the computers being monitored in the customer's Snow Atlas system.

You can view the change in the numbers compared to 30 days earlier and view how recent the data is by viewing the number of days that have passed since the last successful synchronization.

Computers charts

You can view a bar chart to visualize the number of computers that have been inventoried within the last 7 days, were last inventoried more than 7 days ago, are quarantined, or are inactive. From Actions you can select to view data for the last 7 days, 30 days, or 90 days. If there is no data for a specific date, no bar appears.

You can view pie charts which show the ratio of the number of computers of each computer type, hardware type, or operating system. The Most installed OS chart displays up to five operating systems.

Computers table

You can view a table which lists all of your customer's inventoried computers grouped by Computer type, Hardware type, and Operating system. Data appears for each grouping.

You can use the filters to search for specific data, and to specify the data that you want to export. You download the data that you export from the table on the customer details page.

Applications

When you select the Applications tab, the page shows the customer's name and alerts related to the applications for the specific customer. There is also a summary that shows information on the applications which have been identified in the customer's Snow Atlas system.

You can view the change in the numbers compared to 30 days earlier and view how recent the data is by viewing the number of days that have passed since the last successful synchronization.

Applications charts

You can view a bar chart to visualize the number of applications that are installed, are Cloud applications, or are unused applications. From Actions you can select to view data for the last 7 days, 30 days, or 90 days. If there is no data for a specific date, no bar appears.

You can view pie charts which show the ratio of the number of applications which are installed (by application name and by application manufacturer), applications which are denied, or which have one of four support statuses: Active, EOS, EOES, and EOL. The Most installed by... charts and the Most used denied applications chart display up to five applications each.

Applications table

You can view a table which lists all of your customer's applications grouped by Manufacturer, Application name, and whether or not it is a Cloud application. Data appears for each grouping.

You can use the filters to search for specific data, and to specify the data that you want to export. You can access data exported from the table in Notifications and files. For more information, see My files.

SaaS

When you select the SaaS tab, the page shows the customer's name and alerts related to the applications and subscriptions for the specific customer. There is also a summary that shows information on the SaaS applications and subscriptions which have been identified in the customer's Snow Atlas system.

You can view the change in the numbers compared to 30 days earlier and view how recent the data is by viewing the number of days that have passed since the last successful synchronization.

SaaS charts

You can view a pie chart which shows the ratio of the highest number of applications by category.

You can view bar charts to visualize the breakdown of subscriptions. Subscriptions monitoring shows different types of user activity, and unassigned subscriptions. Subscriptions expiration monitoring shows the number of subscriptions due to expire. From Actions, you can select the period for the data that you want to view. If there is no data for a specific date, no bar appears.

SaaS table

You can view a table which lists all of your customer's subscriptions grouped by Subscription, Vendor, and the Discovery source. Data appears for each grouping.

You can use the filters to search for specific data, and to specify the data that you want to export. You can access data exported from the table in Notifications and files. For more information, see My files.
