Users
Each user in Snow License Manager requires a user account. User access and available functionality are then adjusted by assigning one or multiple roles to each user.
On the Users page in Snow Management and Configuration Center, new users can be created and existing users can be edited or deleted. For more information, see Manage users.
The user properties are gathered on the following tabs:
Tab | Description |
---|---|
Users | The general information on the user. |
Roles/AD groups | The roles that the user has been granted. |
Organization Restrictions | When needed, you can use organization restrictions in addition to the roles. You then restrict the user's access to information on computers, applications, agreements, and licenses to a defined list of organization nodes. If one or several organization nodes are specified, the user will only have access to information for these nodes. If no organization nodes are specified, the user will have access to information for all nodes. Note: Organization restrictions do not apply to the Cloud services Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft 365, and other SaaS providers. To see this data, access to the organization ROOT is required. |
Login History | The user's login history. The View Daily Logins option shows them by date and time, while the View Monthly Login Count option shows them by month and count. |
The User report shows an overview of all users including general user information, as well as last logon and logon counts. Click the plus sign to the left of the username to see information on Roles/AD groups and any Organization Restrictions.
