Product Dependencies
To ensure you have the relevant versions installed, refer to this information on version and feature dependencies between Snow products.
Major version dependencies

Snow Inventory Server/Agent dependencies
All versions of Snow Inventory Server and Snow Inventory Agents are generally compatible, which means that any version of Snow Inventory Server will be able to process data coming from any version of the Snow Inventory Agents. However, Snow recommends running the latest version of Snow Inventory Server and Snow Inventory Agents.
The following version dependencies are exceptions:

Cloud Application metering data reported by Snow Inventory Agent version 6 or later can only be processed by Snow Inventory Server version 6.

To allow correct processing, APFS volume data reported by Snow Inventory Agent for macOS 6.1.0 or later and Snow Inventory Server 6.0.5 or later are required.

Dynamic Inventory data reported by Snow Inventory Agent version 6 or later can only be processed by Snow Inventory Server version 6 or later.

As from version 6.4.0, Snow Inventory Agent for Linux is compatible only with Snow Inventory Server version 6.6.0 or later.

As from version 6.8.1, Snow Inventory Agent for Windows is compatible only with Snow Inventory Server version 6.6.0 or later.

To utilize certain features in Snow License Manager 9, the following Snow products are required:
