Manage packages
A package is a container where the manager configure settings, for example passcode policies and email settings for a device. The package is then sent to the device in a deployment. The device receives the deployment, reads the package settings, and executes them. For more information about Deployments, see Manage deployments.
It is strongly recommended to add only one package step per package, for example, one package with passcode settings and one package with wifi settings. If it is necessary to add several package steps in one package, it is recommended to add the wifi settings package step as the last step.
This chapter describes how to create for example passcode, mail, Wi-Fi, and application packages in Snow Device Manager. The packages are sorted in groups according to the following tables.
